A Primogen, meaning first-born, is the representative of a certain clan in a Camarilla domain. A primogen also advises the prince on matters regarding their clan, or their area of expertise.
The Primogen Council[]
The Primogen council is usually appointed by a prince, and in theory are the eldest member of that clan currently involved with politics. The primogen council elect the harpy and perform other decision-making duties.
The Primogen Council may also over turn any ruling of the Prince by a majority vote of the Council.
The primogen within the clan[]
The primogen of a clan has the authority, in the absence of a prince and seneschal to grant hospitality to any member of their clan entering the domain. They are also considered the leader of the clan in the domain, as they are the voice of the clan to the prince.
